The ‘heated treatement and unheated treatment – is this the Paull & Johnson study on trematodes, where warming causes asynchrony in phenology and therefore disrupted transmission? http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/ele.12244/full
Hello,
I love your blog and read it and talk it up as often possible!
I teach a One Health approaches to medicine at a university and would like to use your One Health cartoon as an ad (yes, we have to advertise our classes!!) and in the actual course. I think you nailed it and see it as the best representation of the One Health concept.
Would this be okay with you? If this is okay, how would I best credit your work?
Thanks and thanks for the great work you do here!
Hello, and thanks for the kind words! You can definitely use the cartoon. Can you please send me an email at dinoverm (at) gmail.com and let me know what university you work with? As for crediting me, I can send you an updated cartoon with a small URL in one corner, or you can put the short website URL (parasiteecology.wordpress.com/) in a figure caption.

I like to think I got the joke, too!
You are correct! I always put the reference at the bottom of the post, if you’re ever curious: https://parasiteecology.wordpress.com/2014/01/15/climate-change-and-host-parasite-temporal-mismatches/
Trematode phenology cartoons don’t exactly appeal to a wide audience. You may be the only taker on that one. 😛
